Hi! I’m Amanda, a full time wedding and portrait photographer specialising in portrait and wedding photography. I am based in Cheshire, but happy to travel beyond.

I love all the creative elements of photography; the composition, the lighting, the location and the texture, which all come together to create a beautiful image. Most of all I love capturing your personality and emotion, so you can truly relive a moment in time either as a portrait session or as a set of images which document the most important day of your life, your wedding day.

When capturing a wedding, I work either solo or as a double act with my husband Duco affectionately known as Mr D, who is the second photographer.

My style is mix of artistic and creative for portraits, and a photo journalistic style for those unexpected moments. Most importantly I like to seek inspiration from my clients, as I like their personality and passions to shine through in the images. I do this by really listening to my client's story to find out what is important to them, so when I’m photographing your portrait or wedding I will capture it in a way that you will love.

Both Duco and I feel proud to have our images grace the pages of publications, such as; Bride Magazine, County Brides and Wedding Ideas. I also feel privileged to work, as a preferred photographer, with of some of the most luxurious wedding venues in the North West; The Chester Grosvenor, Rowton Hall Country House Hotel & Spa, & Alcumlow Hall Farm.

A little bit about me, in my spare time I love walking our gorgeous dog in the countryside. On lazy days there is nothing better than spending time with hubby Duco watching a feel good movie with the fire on and a good glass a plonk.

Mr D

Mr D (Duco) is my husband and second photographer at weddings. I love working with Mr D, he is great at capturing those natural candid photos in a journalistic style, as well as helping with the logistics of setting up equipment, co-ordinating guests and providing a sense of fun to make couples feel more relaxed.

By working together it allows us to capture more aspects of your wedding day. It means that we can capture both the Bride and Groom getting ready in the morning and the ceremony from different angles. As well as more candid natural photos of the guests enjoying themselves at the reception all the way through to the First Dance.

If you have any questions or would like to catch up for a chat do get in touch, I would love to hear from you.

Best wishes, Amanda x
